The Police Command in Kaduna State have revealed that on Wednesday night, gunmen tried to kidnap Alhaji Umar Musa, the Paramount Ruler of Ninzo Chiefdom in Sanga Local Government Area, but failed.
ASP Mansir Hassan, the spokesperson, said the chief’s wife is still missing. He also mentioned that security officers are searching the forests around Sanga for her.
The Ninzo Development Association, led by President Prof. Moses Audi and Secretary Silas Anche, in a statement condemned the kidnapping attempt that led to the chief’s wife’s disappearance.
The statement urged everyone to stay calm and let the government handle the situation.
