RESPONSE TO PUBLIC COMPLAINTS: Police Organizes 2-Day Workshop For Heads of CRUs Across The Country.

The Inspector-General of Police Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun has established Complaint Response Units (CRU) in all Police state commands across the country in line with the provisions of the Nigeria Police Act, 2020, and subsequently organised a 2-day workshop for the heads of this unit.
According to a released statement from the Police Headquarters yesterday, the appointed heads of the states’ CRU assembled on the FCT Abuja on the 21st of February 2024, for induction into their offices at the Force Headquarters, Abuja.
At the induction ceremony, the IGP, I Kayode Egbetokun who was represented by the Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, charged the officers to be upright and just in the discharge of their duties.
He urged them to be firm, up and doing, reiterating the commitment of the IGP in ensuring the protection of people’s fundamental human rights and promoting the core values of the force.
The induction ceremony and 2-day workshop also had in attendance the representative of the United Nations Office on Drugsand Crime (UNODC) and AIG Austine Iwah, retired AIG and UN certified resource person.
