NAF FIGHTER JETS KILL SCORES OF TERRORISTS IN BORNO

The Air Task Force (ATF) of Operation Lafiya Dole has killed several Boko Haram terrorists on Saturday in their Baga hideouts of Borno state. The neutralization of insurgents, were carried; after Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) platform spotted them assembling under canopies of trees near a fish dam. This was disclosed in a statement released Sunday in Maiduguri; by Air Commodore Ibikunle Daramola, Director of NAF Public Relations. According to him, the ATF dispatched an Alpha Jet aircraft to attack the identified hideouts. On terrorists’ killings, he said: “The aircraft launched multiple attack passes, killing several of the terrorists and causing serious injuries to others,” adding that surviving terrorists were also mopped up in subsequent air strikes.
