Police pledges support for 1st JAMB Tertiary Institutions soccer competition

The Kwara State Police Command has pledged to provide maximum security before, during and after the forthcoming first Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Tertiary Institutions soccer competition holding in Ilorin next month.

While receiving the Main Organizing Committee, led by its Chairman, Pharmacist Kale Ayo in his office, the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Lawan Ado said that security is central to the success of the inter-collegiate competition.

He said all hands must be on deck to provide reasonable man-power, to ensure success of the competition, even as he commended JAMB for supporting the initiative.

Pharmacist Kale Ayo, who is the Commissioner for Sports and Youth Development, had earlier sought the support of the command, before, during and after the competition.
    The competition has been rescheduled to hold between twentieth to twenty seventh of next month in Ilorin the kwara state capital.

Matches will be played at the University of Ilorin Mini-Stadium and Kwara Football Academy pitches.
