A professor and five students have so far been victims of an explosion in the University of Maiduguri. In an ironic manner, the bomb blast came barely 24 hours after 257 members of Boko Haram were released to mark the Army Remembrance Day which took place at Rainat Square in Maiduguri.
Some Nigerians think that the released Boko Haram members may have a hand in the explosion one of them is Adekunle Martins a lawyer. He told Scroll Report that it is not impossible for some of the released members to be invovled in the explosion because they cannot be totally clean as the Army claims they are. Besides terrorists like to strike when it will have maximum effect. And the effect is a land mark because it is coming barely after the Remembrance day.
