It’s a celebration galore for the Divisional Police Officer of MAN Center police division under Area F of Lagos State Police Command, CSP Ayo Elijah, Trek Africa Newspaper can report.
Just as the Year 2024 was rounding off, the news of his promotion by the Police Service Commission to the rank of Chief Superintendent of Police was announced. The decoration ceremony was recently conducted by the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Olanrewaju Ishola.
This promotion was immediately followed by CSP Ayo Elijah getting the coveted award of the DPO of the Year presented by foremost Newspaper brand reputed for going the extra mile for the news, Trek Africa Newspaper.
The dogged crime fighter and stickler to discipline, CSP Ayo Elijah is a firm believer in the policing style which ranks community engagement, credible intelligence and technology on a high pedestal. Under his leadership, MAN Center has reduced crimes and criminality to the barest minimum in the Ikeja environs.
The Trek Africa DPO of the Year award was presented to him for his commitment to the policing mandate, his adept crime fighting capacity, exceptional community engagement, and promotion of civility, law, and order in the society.
The prestigious award was presented on behalf of Trek Africa Newspaper to CSP Ayo Elijah by the Board Member of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund, LSSTF, Dr. Ayo Ogunsan and supported by the Chief Executive Officer of Badinson Security Services, Mr. Matthew Ibadin.
