GODSPOWERPROJECT
To the Glory of GOD, Oladapo is credited for elevating the quality of Africa’s historical cultural promotion and talent shows through diverse exhibitions of visual arts, dance, literature, music, and theatre and also, helping youths across Africa learn, discover and gain more interest in arts and culture as a fundamental part of their identity.
Having led and participated in various socio-cultural extra-curricular activities since high school where he bagged a merit award of excellence from the Lagos State Education District 1 in 2009, Oladapo, as president of his department during his years as an undergraduate at Ekiti State University, in 2015, drew his colleagues and counterparts closer to the culture and heritage of Ekiti State, by leading everyone on a tour of natural and historic sites, including Erinta waterfalls and Ikogosi warm spring, intercepting nature with culture, and helping participants to embrace and appreciate the art in their culture in a self-styled orchestration.
Ever since, Oladapo has continued to visit and tell immersive stories behind cultural events and places in a compelling, yet educative and informative manner, even beyond the shores of Africa, when he documented the rich history behind KelvinGroove Art Gallery and Museum in the United Kingdom.
Among Oladapo’s immense contribution to the international recognition of Art and cultural growth and development in Nigeria and Africa as a whole, is Naija Talent League, a 5 week-long dance contest show, aimed at exploring the proficiency in youths towards making themselves treasured assets, and the world a better place by communicating the message of love, peace and unity through their costumes and performances.
Fatuase hosted subsequent editions of Naija Talent League in 2021 and 2022 in Nigeria.
Oladapo Emmanuel Fatuase, an Esun native of Ekiti State, is the third born of four children born to Mr. Sesan and Mrs. Modupe Fatuase. He attended Malomo Nursery and primary school within the Ekoro axis of Abule Egba in Lagos State between 1993 to 2002. He had his secondary school education at Vetland Grammar School from 2003 to 2009.
Oladapo studied Chemistry at Ekiti State University from 2011 to 2015, and proceeded to Edinburgh Napier university in the United Kingdom, where he studied International Heritage and Cultural Tourism Management between 2023 and 2024.
Observing their continental impact within a short while, Nigerian based corporate communications expert and CEO of Merica Entertainment, Andrew Efoghe, endorsed the Naija Talent League, and lauds Oladapo as “a national transformation agent helping to positively shape talented creatives through dance, while recognizing and optimising the artistic side of their culture.”
The 2022 edition of Naija Talent League held in WestGate Arena, within the Olowora area of Lagos State.
It was a 5 week-long contest which featured eight teams, and a dance team evicted each week until the final three.
Mindbending dance steps, impressive teamwork, diligent judges, upbeat crews, heightened media presence, colorful props and lights, surrounded by an ecstatic audience were the highlights of the host community while the show went down.
With his documentary series now featuring international landmarks including the KelvinGroove Art Gallery and Museum in the United Kingdom, the sky is Oladapo’s starting point, as he is optimistic about hosting the next edition of Naija Talent League in the United Kingdom.
With role models and mentors like Thomas Jefferson, Winston Churchill, King David, Engr Temitope Turner, Apostle Joshua Selman and Mr Olayinka Bello, Oladapo observes himself to be a lover and maker of music, whose introspective lifestyle fuels his mission to “helping creatives recognize and understand who they are, and how they can be of benefit to their communities by recognizing their talents”
“Our goal is to contribute a significant impart towards a world of love, peace and unity; one that, if not completely free, minimal of chaos and vices”
