Woman who tore passport arrested, husband says it’s a skit + Videos

The drama surrounding the yet-to-be-identified couple involved in the tearing of a document said to be the man’s international passport by the wife at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos State is yet unending.

This followed the arrest of the woman by operatives of the Nigeria Immigration Service and her movement to Abuja.

The arrest, on Wednesday, also coincided with the release of a video by the man, on the television platform of the family, claiming that what transpired at the airport was a skit.

So also have the couple shot another video where there was an altercation between the woman and a supposed mother of the husband over the incident.

She was then led into a pick-up van of the NIS and driven away.

In a video  two of the couple’s three children, the husband said: “What my wife tore is not passport.

“She never tore my passport.

“She never spoilt my passport.

“We are doing a skit.

“This is somebody’s story of what happened that we are passing to the world.

“But I didn’t even know it would go viral.

“Please, I’m begging everybody, this is not passport.

“My passport is intact.

“Nobody should drag this thing to the mud.

“We are sorry.

“We cannot defy the law of Nigeria.

“We are full bonafide Nigerians.

“We cannot go against the law by destroying the passport of Nigeria.

“It is not possible.”

it was  equally observed that on the Instagram page of the family, the could have a lot of videos in which they were catching “cruise”.
