Insight into Ecobank Nigeria Promo To mobilise deposits and Reward Loyal Customers

Ecobank Nigeria, a subsidiary of Ecobank Group has joined it’s tier-1 financial institutions peers First Bank of Nigeria PLC and United Bank for Africa ( UBA) to released promo to it’s loyal customers who are to reap mouth watering cash prizes.
Whereas the promos of First Bank and UBA, are tied to their 130th and 75th years anniversary, that of Ecobank Nigeria tagged ‘ Ecobank Super Rewards Millionaire Geng Promo’s is targeted at rewarding their customers who make deposits and maintain them for a period.
The promo expected to last for six months, is primarily to mobilise deposits, will see 540 customers winning various cash prizes.
Adeola Ogunyemi, Head Consumer Banking of the Pan-African Bank who unveiled the promo said it is part of the bank’s strategy to reward their loyal customers and deepened deposits especially for customers in the rural and semi-urban areas.
She explained that the promo is open both to new and existing individual customers.
Ogunyemi” Under the reward initiative, 520 of our customers will be rewarded with N50,000 monthly for six months while 16 customers will win N500,000 quarterly in September and December.
” For the Grand prize, four customers will win N2,000,000 million each at the end of the campaign.
“We expect many Nigerians especially those that are yet to have account with us to avail themselves of this opportunity and enjoy the top-notch services that we offer”.
On what is required from customers to qualify for the promo, Victor Yalokwu, Head Consumer Segments and Products explained further ” New customers only need to open an account with a minimum of N10,000 and maintain it for 30 days to qualify for the monthly draw, while existing customers also have to maintain same amount for same period”.
He said to qualify for the N500,000 cash reward, both new and existing customers have to deposit and maintain a minimum of N50,000 for three months to qualify for the quarterly draw to win N500,000 prize.
Similarly, for the grand prize which will see four customers getting N2,000,000 each, they are required to deposit and maintain a minimum of N50,000 for six months.
Yalokwu further explained that aside from the deposit, potential winners are also required to perform a minimum of two transactions monthly to stand a chance of winning the cash rewards.
