The Vice-Chancellor of Ajayi Crowther University, Prof. Timothy Adebayo, has said adequate measures have been taken to forestall a re-occurrence of the recent killing of a student of the institution.
The Vice Chancellor spoke on Monday as more sordid videos of the beating of the dead student emerged on social media.
Adebayo, who stated this while addressing a news conference in Oyo, the ancient town where the university is located in Oyo State, said the school had declared three days of mourning over the death of the student.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that a 200 Level Mechanical Engineering student of the institution had on Friday evening been beaten to death by some of his colleagues.
