Akwa Ibom State Police Command CP Decorates PPRO Macdon and Others With Elevated Ranks

The Akwa Ibom State Commissioner Of Police Waheed Ayilara has decorated newly promoted senior officers in the command with their new ranks.
Among those decorated with the new rank is the Command Public Relations Officer Superintendent ( SP) Odiko Macdon, who was recently promoted to the next rank of Chief Superintendent of Police ( CSP).
He was decorated alongside CSP Ahmadu Bello, who is the Officer in-charge of Conflict Resolution Unit, Sagir Mani of the Quick Intervention Squad, Sampson Atosokwa of Eket Area Command and Mark Mbah of the anti Narcotics Squad.
The CP, while congratulating the newly promoted Officers noted that promotion comes with greater responsibilities. He urged the Officers to increase their productivity in police service delivery and always be professional while dealing with members of the public.
In their reaction, the newly decorated Officers thanked the Inspector General of Police, the Police Service Commission and the Commissioner of Police for finding them worthy to be elevated and decorated. They assured the CP of redoubling their efforts in making Akwa Ibom State more peaceful.
Macdon since assuming office as Police PRO has been able to gather goodwill not only from the media, state government, but members of the public through his amiable nature and professional conduct in his duties.
It is his professional and sincere conduct, that is believed to have led to positive reports about police exploits in weeding the state of criminals.
Infact, many journalists in Akwa Ibom State have often described CSP Macdon an interviewer’s delight.
For his admirers and associates, his promotion to the next rank is well deserved.
