Renowned Nollywood veteran Zack Orji, is in a critical state at the ICU of the National Hospital in Abuja.
Multiple reports showing his photograph as he lay languorously in the hospital have been making the rounds.
The 63 year-old actor is said to be unable to walk or speak. Some reports said he slumped at home before he was rushed to the hospital.
He was admitted two days ago and is currently undergoing a series of tests to pinpoint the underlying issue.
The famous actor was born in Libreville, Gabon. He grew up in Cameroon, Benin and Togo, French speaking countries. He thus speaks both English and French fluently.
He was educated at University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
His first movie was in 1991 and was entitled Unforgiven Sin.
Since then, he had starred in different movies, such as Glamour Girls, and Blood Money.
Aside from acting, Orji is a preacher.
He is married to Ngozi Orji has three children and lives in Nigeria.
