Stella Imoh, founder and promoter of a prominent frontline support group for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Akwa Ibom State Pastor Umo Eno is intensifying her campaign for the PDP candidate in her community, Ifa Nkari and the entire Nkari clan in Ini Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.

Last Sunday March 5, 2023 the quintessential politician and philanthropist storm his village to sensitised the people on the need to come out enmass to vote the PDP governorship candidate Pastor Umo Eno so as to benefit from the dividends of democracy he is bringing.

At a gathering in her village Ifa at her instance which had over hundreds of party supporters, Unit and ward executives as well as women, youths and men, she thanked them for standing behind her to vote for the PDP to deliver the two polling units in the locality and solicited more cooperation in the coming Saturday March 11 to vote for the PDP governorship candidate and the House of Assembly Member.

Extolling the qualities of Pastor Umo Eno to the people, she reiterated her consistent position in several fora that her determination to work whole heartedly for the PDP candidate with her energy and little resources was borne out of the pedigree she has seen in him which surpassed all others. She listed these to include humility, his entrepreneurial prowess, his low background and being a minister of God and a God fearing man which is what the people want and need to sustain the current relative peace enjoyed in the state under Governor Udom Emmanuel administration.

Stella while admonishing the people to be wary of agents of other parties who might come to them to entice them with monetary gives that will not put food on their tables, said support for Pastor Umo Eno is support for her who will bring him to the people when he becomes the governor so that the community will reap the dividends of democracy especially in the area of infrastructural development like good network of roads which is lacking in the community, education empowerment, business support grants and employment of youths of the area into government.

She revealed to the people, the twin projects she is embarking upon in the village which include the reconstruction of the dilapidated and abandoned market at Atebe and her desire to provide one overhead tank borehole each in the six families that make up Ifa- Nkari community.

Aside that she also reel out some of her philanthropic activities over the years which include paying for JAMB forms for students in the Local government, school fees, support for widows and the indigent as well as seed grant to start business for the people.

The founder and promoter of National Value Intact Initiative/ Dynamic Mothers Initiative who went to the campaign meeting with a prototype flex of ballot paper, used the occasion to sensitised the people on the best way to vote so that their votes will not be voided. She educated them to look for umbrella and vote in the middle of the space provided and not in between the line or outside.
Some speakers at the gathering which included former Chairman of Ini Local Government Engineer Okon Akpan Nya,former ward chairman, the ward youth leader as well as women coordinators in the village especially Rebecca Akpan were all full of praise for Stella Imoh for her philanthropic gestures to the community and her unwavouring support to the PDP candidate which they were confident will win the March 11 election. They asked the people to turn out in large numbers more than they did in the previous February 25 Presidential and National Assembly election to vote for the PDP candidates which are Pastor Umo Eno, governorship candidate and Itoro Columbanus, House of Assembly candidate.
The high point of the gathering which threw the women into dance was the presentation of over 200 wrappers to women especially by Stella Imoh with a promise to give more after they fulfill their obligation of coming out to vote for PDP on Saturday.

Earlier, she had visited the St Peter Catholic Quasi Parish of Ifa – Nkari where she donated a complete set of musical instrument for usage by the choir.
The donation according to her was in fulfillment of the promise she made on February 21 while attending a funeral service in the church.

Imoh said she recollected with sweeth memory when as a kid, she used to follow her grand mother to the church carrying her chair and express gratitude to God for giving her the enablement to fulfill her promise at so short a time.

Stella pledged more support for the church in future and equally used the occasion to sensitised the people to come out on March 11 to perform their civic duty and vote for the PDP governorship candidate Umo Eno.

Just like she said at the gathering in the village, she had told the parishioners of the St Peter Catholic Church that Pastor Umo Eno will certainly emerge as the Governor, so she would want them to be among those that contributed their quota towards making him a governor of Akwa Ibom in order to be in a position to reap bountifully from the good governance he will bring as he marches to the Hilltop mansion.

The Cathecist together with the Chairman Church Council who received the gift on behalf of the Parish Priest who was unavailable as the Church had closed shortly before her arrival, though parishioners were still available in large numbers, praised her for the kind gesture. While describing her as the reverred daughter of the soil endowed with milk of human kindness, pledged to queue behind her by urging all parishioners to support her goal one of which is the election of the PDP governorship candidate Pastor Umo Bassey Eno.

It is significant to note that her meeting of the women in the church, also contributed to the large number of women that throng the meeting place in the village where she addressed, sensitised and mobilised them to vote for the PDP.

Interestingly, ever since she decided to throw her weight behind the candidacy of Pastor Umo Eno, even before he won the Party ticket, Stella had been on the road on her own accord committing her energy and resources to mobilise and sensitise people, especially market women, widows and youths on the need to embrace the candidacy of the PDP candidate.

In the course of this her pet project of delivering Pastor Umo Eno, she has given no fewer than 10,000 aprons in scripted with the picture of Umo Eno and deputy Akon Iyangeyi to traders in major markets across the state and shops.

Again, in the just concluded Local Government Areas campaign tour of the PDP governorship candidate, she with her group followed the campaign train to all the 31 LGAs, including the state flag off campaign and Senatorial DIstricts Flag off.

As a philanthropist, she has touched many lives in different dimension.
This is the more reason she has many followers who are already angling for Saturday to queue behind her to vote for the PDP candidates like they did on February 25, but with renewed vigour and enthusiasm.

Stella Imoh, a graduate of Physics from the University of Uyo is a woman of many parts. She is a clergy like Pastor Umo Eno, a philanthropist, a counsellor, an entrepreneur, a grassroot mobiliser and an advocate of women emancipation advocate who pride herself for coming from a poor and humble background to become through God benevolence one who can assist and support people said through her twin socio- political and empowerment group, National Value Intact Initiative/ Dynamic Mothers Initiative has assisted so many widows, boys and girls, needy mothers, the elderly and indigent students.

Long before now she has always echoed to whoever cares to listen repeatedly, that Pastor Umo Eno will be the next governor of the state. Few days to the election, she told this reporter that her confidence has not wavered but instead has become stronger that the PDP candidate will triumph on Saturday with a convincing victory.
