‘I cannot but appreciate him for this 1 year of peace in Lagos. I want to thank him for his result-oriented leadership, for allowing men and officers under his command to soar to the best of their capacities.’
Ogunsan then charged the Ekiti-born CP, ‘My brother, do not rest on your oars. Lagos is expecting a lot more from you. This is an electioneering year. This is also a census year. So there is so much to do apart from the regular duty. Go over the ordinary. Do beyond the norm.’
‘I pray for more Grace for you. I pray for more strength for you. I pray that you will continue on a sterling note for as long as you are in Lagos and wherever service to fatherland will lead you‘, he told Trek Africa Newspaper.
