Former Barcelona and Arsenal star Thierry Henry has been given backing to become the next Gunners boss after Arsene Wenger leaves.
Wenger is seemingly on borrowed time at the Emirates and now talk has really begun on who should be the next boss.
This comes after another disappointing final loss to Manchester City on Sunday and one name came out of the blue.
That name came in the form of Thierry Henry after Jamie Redknapp asked whether he would take over on liveTV.
Having not exactly said no, the former forward has now received backing from a former associate.
‘The same requirements we were appreciating in Pep Guardiola when we decided to put him as a coach of the first team, Thierry has many of them,” Laporta in an interview
On the other end of the spectrum, the former player has been told he’s not ready to take over.
Safe to say, many will be debating this for the next few months.
