The Lagos state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Wednesday condoled with the national leader of the party, Chief Bola Tinubu over the death of his son, Jide, earlier in the day.
The chairman of the state chapter of the party, Chief Henry Ajomale, expressed the party’s condolences in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos.
He said the chapter was devastated by the sad news, while describing the incident as unfortunate.
“This is a very unfortunate incident and we are so devastated by this sad news.
“We commiserate with our great national leader, Tinubu on this great loss and we pray God will grant the entire family the fortitude to bear the loss,” he said.
Ajomale said he was personally pained by the demise of Jide as he was very close to the family.
