The Nigerian union of petroleum and natural gas workers, NUPENG has opposed any form of fuel price hike.
According to the union any increase fuel price is an increase in the suffering of the masses.The union also wants government to intervene in the planned strike the tanker drivers want to stage in order to protest deplorable working and excessive harassment on the roads.
