The Yoruba sociopolitical and cultural organization, Ekiti state chapter, rising from it’s monthly meeting, presided over by its chairman, Elder Yemi Alade, resolved as follows: *That, the state chapter will continue to hold tight to the credos of its founding fathers to the extent of making Yoruba nation as an integral part of Nigeria, where equal opportunities are sacred and made available. *That national resources are restructured in a manner that will promote unity among the different ethnic and sub-ethnic groups. That Ekiti Afenifere is ready to take the bull by the horns to play a leading role to bring together the seemingly fragmented Afenifere as a it used to be. And to this end an 8-man committee has inaugurated to liaise with the leadership of the other groups, led by Chief Fasonranti as well as other stakeholders. That Ekiti Afenifere is of the opinion that the Yoruba nation should continue to provide political leadership for the country with one voice, through Afenifere.
